I will gladly repair free of charge anything that arrives at your door damaged from the mail. You pay shipping back and I will cover it back to you when it is fixed.

Refunds are at my discretion and have a 15 day time where I will consider them.

  • Shipping

Ready to ship pieces reserve a 7 day time frame from the date of payment where they will be shipped- even though it is highly likely that your jewelry will be shipped within the 24 hours after purchase.

Made-to-order pieces could take up to 5 weeks for fabrication and shipment from the date of payment.

You will see if your purchase is 'made to order' or 'ready to ship' in the information within the listing.

I ship via USPS and will provide a tracking number to you.

  • Do you repair sterling silver jewelry?

Unfortunately, I do not repair jewelry. I simply doesn't have the bandwidth to focus on anything other than creating original pieces of jewelry. Best of luck in your search for a qualified jewelry repair artist.

  • Did you go to school?

YES! I took a 6 month program in Salt Lake City at the end of 2019, at B Golden Jewelry School! Then I was fresh out of school and started my own business in 2020 selling my jewelry & Petranella Jewelry was born!

  • What advice can you give someone new to metalsmithing?

Find your voice, put your time in. Honestly...that's the best advice I can give. I think people create work that speaks to others when it comes from their heart & soul. When you are able to draw from your own unique perspective, your own history. Because really...there are a lot of amazing artists out there, and the only thing that distinguishes you...is you, it's all we've got.

  • Do you teach classes or lessons?

Hopefully someday in the future! I’ve always wanted to open my own studio up!

  • Sizing

I want to make sure you have the best fit. To find out your ring size, you'll want to measure the finger on which you'll be wearing the ring. Your future ring should fit your finger comfortably; snug enough so that it will not fall off, but loose enough to slide over your knuckle with some resistance.

    Here are some online methods…

    Tips:

~Perform this measurement exercise when you are neither hot or cold. When your body is cold your fingers can shrink in size and when you are hot, your fingers will swell in size.

~The most commonly purchased women’s ring size for Women range between size 5 to 7. Size 6 is our most popular ring size. The most commonly purchased men’s ring size, range from size 9 to 11. Size 10 is our most popular men's ring size.

~If you're able, you can also go to any jeweler and they will measure your ring size free of charge. If you need any assistance, please don't hesitate to reach out. Email us at petranellajewelry@gmail.com

  • Jewelry Care

All of the items in my collections are handmade and hand finished. Because of this, no two items are exactly alike, nor are they perfect. All handmade items will have natural imperfections. It is these slight imperfections that give handcrafted items their innate soulful character and appeal. It's not for everyone...but I like a little old soul in each and every piece I create.

    At home instructions:

~Avoid sprays or lotions as they can cause tarnishing.

~Keep jewelry stored separately from other pieces, in a cool dark place, in a jewelry box or pouch.

~Keep jewelry from getting wet, remove before swimming, bathing or showering.

~Remove jewelry before going to bed, to prevent accidents in your sleep.
